Funeral services for Peggy Jo Nations Smith, of Wesson, were 11a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Wesson City Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, 73, died April 30, 2011, at St. Dominic Hospital inJackson. She was born on July 5, 1937, to Emmitt and IreneNations.

She was a secretary for Potter Company. She was also a portait andlandscape artist. She was a member of Decell Memorial MethodistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Benjamin ScottSmith; and her siblings Darryl Nations, LulaNell Nations, PheobieRobinson, Warren Nations and Sidney White.

Survivors are her husband, William Lee “W.L.” Smith; her sons,William Craig Smith, and wife, Rebecca; and Christopher Lee Smith;her daughter, Robyn Greer Smith and partner, Susan Archer; hergrandchildren, Abbey Gayle Smith and Jordan Lee Smith; hersister-in-law, Dorothy Rollins; and her best friend, JoyPhillips.
