Funeral services for Jimmie Ruth Joyner Stephens of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stephens, 80, died March 4, 2013, at St. Dominic-Jackson Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in Mississippi on Sept. 29, 1932.

She was a switchboard operator at Trustmark National Bank and King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ted O. Stephens, and her father, Doyle H. Joyner.

Survivors are her mother, Margaret Stephenson Joyner; sons, Mark O. Stephens and wife, Ann, and Timothy H. Stephens; daughter, Melissa F. Mayberry; sisters, Bobbie Fondren and husband, Louis, Doris Marbury, and Margaret Ward and husband, Glen; five grandchildren, Chris Stephens, Eric Ann Lofton, Brittany Guillory, John Mayberry and Brandy Mayberry; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Clear Branch Baptist Church building fund.
