Dr. Roger Dale Calcote

Services for Dr. Roger Dale Calcote, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Thursday, Aug. 8 at Nola Baptist Church with burial in ShilohBaptist Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Dr. Calcote, 60, died Aug. 8, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn on Aug. 9, 1944, to Edgar Herring Calcote and Willie PauleneKeene Calcote.

He was a college professor and certified public accountant. Hereceived a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters Degree inBusiness Administration, both from the University of SouthernMississippi, and a Doctorate in Business Administration fromMississippi State University. He was founder and editor at theAcademy of Accounting and finance chairman for the department ofaccounting at Jackson State University.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Christopher PaulCalcote; a daughter, Julie Careen; three brothers, Wade DanielCalcote, Julian Roy Calcote and Paul Edward Calcote.

Survivors are his wife, Sandra Calcote; his daughter, Dr. CaraCalcote Bondly and her husband, Lester Jon Bondly; his son, AdamEdgar Calcote and his wife, Lindsey Wade Andrew Calcote; and agrandson, Seth Calcote.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or M.D.Anderson Cancer Center.

Suzanne O’Donnell Case

Private graveside services for Suzanne O’Donnell Case wereMonday, Aug. 8 at Rosehill Cemetery. Hartman Funeral Home of McCombwas in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Case, 85, died Aug. 5, 2005, at her residence. She was bornin Hattiesburg on Dec. 23, 1920, to Josie Mae Perkins O’Donnell andT.L. O’Donnell.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HarryLinton Case; a son Harry Linton Case Jr.; and a brother, ThomasGordon.

Survivors are her daughter, Susan Lee Embry and her husband,Phil, of Grenada; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Case, of Oxford; sixgrandchildren, Mark Allen Case, Christopher Linton Case, JenniferLyn Case, Leslie Lynn Case, Phillip Perkins Embry, Harry CaseEmbry; and four great-grandchildren.
