Services for Richard “Dickie” Williams of Wesson are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, April 10, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Williams, 59, died April 8, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in Magnolia on Aug. 25, 1942, to Floyd A. Williams Jr. andClara Vernon Williams.

He was an independent land man. He was a member of Mt. ZionBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his wife, Jan Bowman Williams of Wesson; his son,Scott Williams of Madison; his daughter, Penny Gemelli of Wesson;his mother, Clara Vernon Williams of Brookhaven; his sisters,Catherine Jordan of Hattiesburg and Ann Gaspard of New York; andfour grandchildren.
