Funeral services for Daisy Davis Pogue, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Brookhaven FuneralHome Chapel on Natchez Drive with burial in Pine Forest Cemetery inPickton, Texas.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Pogue, 86, died Aug. 10, 2011, at her residence. She was bornin Lincoln County on Sept. 14, 1924, to Allen and Dora CaseDavis.

    She was a clerk at various locations and also employed with StahlUrban. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worshipped atCentral Church of Christ.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Palmer Pogue;her infant son; and her infant daughter; her three brothers, BradyDavis, Prentiss Davis and Oscar Davis; and her sisters, Ola Laird,Myrtle McGee and Clara Ratcliff.

    Survivors are her daughter, Beverly Pogue, of Jackson; and hersister, Hazel Davis, of Brookhaven.
