Services for Leroy Williams of Liberty are 2 p.m., Wednesday,Feb. 26, at Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin Countywith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon to 5 p.m., at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Williams, 85, died Feb. 21, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Amite County on April 14, 1917, to Doby Williams andQuenice Williams.

He was retired. He was a member of Rosehill Missionary BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, a grandson,and a great-grandson.

Survivors are his wife, Ida Mae Wall Williams of Liberty; hisson, Anthony Williams of Liberty; his daughters, Helen Porter ofDetroit, Mich., Golda Hamilton of Harvey, Ill., Lavern Cowart ofNew Orleans, La., Sarah Carter of Chicago, Ill., and Peggy Williamsand Susie Floyd, both of Liberty; his sisters, Willie Mae Milton ofMcComb, and Mary Ethel Bates of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 11grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
