Services for Ella V. Lyons Smith of Maywood, Ill. are 7 p.m.,Sunday, March 28, at Tyler Funeral Home Chapel with gravesideservices at 11 a.m., Monday, March 29, at Springfield ChurchCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Sunday from 3-7 p.m., with family hour from 6-7p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 67, died March 20, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Bogue Chitto on Nov. 29, 1936, to Sandy Lyons and Mary EllaLyons.

She was a retired factory worker at Reflector Hardware inMelrose Park, Ill. She was a graduate of Alexander High School.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Thomas Smithand Paul Edward Smith; and three brothers, Lee Lyons, J.C. Lyonsand Bill Swanigan.

Survivors are her daughter, Pamela Smith of Maywood, Ill.; herson, Fred Smith Jr. of Bogue Chitto; her sister, Erma of Vallejo,Calif.; her brothers, Robert Lyons of Jackson, and Ike Lyons andWillie Lyons, both of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Cameron andCarmen Smith and Thomas Daniels; and a host of nieces andnephews.
