Services for Johnnie B. Dixon of Brookhaven are 11:30 a.m.,Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church withburial in Carver Heights Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 1-6 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Dixon, 50, died Dec. 26, 2002, at University Medical Centerin Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 20, 1952, to J.D.Dixon and Ruthie Dixon.

He was formerly employed at St. Regis Paper Mill. He was a 1970graduate of Alexander High School and a graduate of Alcorn StateUniversity.

Preceding him in death were his mother; and one brother, BennieDixon.

Survivors are his wife, Tawayah Dixon of Jackson; his daughters,Taj Allante’ Dixon of New Mexico, and Alexis Nicole Dixon ofBrookhaven; his father, J.D. Dixon of Brookhaven; his stepmother,Thelma Dixon of Brookhaven; his brothers, Alvin Dixon ofClarksdale, and Zeno Crump of Brookhaven; and his sisters, BeverlyRichardson of McComb and Linda Marks of Brookhaven.
