Services for Jerome Evans Lester of Monticello are 1 p.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home in Cantonment,Fla., with burial in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Community FuneralServices is in charge of arrangements in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., at Faith Chapel FuneralHome.

Mr. Lester, 88, died Dec. 28, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Rome, Ga., on Sept. 25, 1915, to Clinton Lester and Bula M.Colson.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a daughter, DiannaSanders.

Survivors are his wife, Gladys Lester of Monticello; hisdaughter, Carolyn Morgan of Monticello; his sister, Faye Lester ofCalifornia; his brothers, Howard Lester and Reese Lester, both ofAlbertsville, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
