Services for Christina B. Ezell, of Brookhaven, are 4 p.m.today, May 5 at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burial inMt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 4 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Ezell, 82, died May 3, 2005, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Brookhaven onOct. 1, 1922, to William Brown and Virgie Leggett Brown.

She was retired and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; onegrandchild; one brother; and two sisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Dorothy Malone, of Brookhaven andPaulette DeLormier, of Metairie, La.; her son, Bruce Wayne Davis,of Brookhaven; her sister, Willena Roberts, of Brookhaven; herbrother, James Brown, of Laurel; 12 grandchildren; 20great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Nolan Johnson Sr.

Services for Nolan Johnson Sr., of Woodville, are 1 p.m.Saturday, May 7 at Embrew Baptist Church in Woodville with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home inBude and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Johnson, 73, died April 29, 2005, in Woodville. He was bornin Woodville on Feb. 3, 1932, to Nolan J. Johnson and EstherJohnson.

He was a deacon, Sunday School superintendent, choir sponsor,fourth Sunday night sponsor, pastor’s aide and church member.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Jessie L.Johnson; a daughter, Stephanie E. Johnson; three sisters; and onebrother.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Nancy L. Johnson; twodaughters, Lee Ester Thompson and Joyce Veal, both of Woodville;three sons, Nolan Johnson Jr., Carl Johnson and Shelton Johnson,all of Woodville; one adopted daughter, NaLisha Poole, ofWoodville; six godchildren; one brother, Walter Johnson, ofWoodville; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; 17grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews and many, many other relatives and friends.

Gertrude Neely

Services for Gertrude Neely, of Monticello, were 11 a.m. today,May 5 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello with burial inLakewood Memorial Cemetery in Jackson.

Mrs. Neely, 95, died May 3, 2005, at Lawrence County NursingCenter. She was born in Yazoo County on July 28, 1909, to John J.Eley and Nettie Walker Eley.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Wynndale BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, MiltonK. Neely.

Survivors are her sons, Bill Neely, of Summit, Milton Neely, ofLeander, Texas, and Jerry Neely, of Cumming, Ga.; her brother, JohnEley, of Terry; seven grandchildren; and sixgreat-grandchildren.
