Services for Janie Lewis Otte of McComb are 11 a.m. Tuesday,April 30, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rose HillCemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday, April 30, from 9-11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Otte, 95, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at her residence.She was born in Stables, La., on Feb. 16, 1907, to the late JamesBennett and Jane Holmes Lewis.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of South McComb BaptistChurch. She loved to sew, play dominoes and read.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Harry C. Otte;brothers, S.O. Lewis, Bennet Lewis, Lemuel Lewis Sr., Victor Lewis,Frank Lewis and Jack Lewis; and a sister, Betty Laird.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Fred and JenniferBush Otte of Atlanta; brother, Lemuel Lewis Jr. of Bay Springs;daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth O. and Billy McIntosh and Lucileand Charles Bond, all of McComb, Betty Jo and Joe Hudson ofLexington, Ky., and Dorothy J. Otte of McComb; 19 grandchildren;and 27 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to theBaptist Children’s Village in Clinton or Horizon Hospice inMcComb.
