Services for Clara Ozell Smith of Meadville are 10 a.m. Monday,July 10, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in SareptaBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, July 9, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 94, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, of heart failure ather residence. She was born in Jefferson County on May 8, 1906, tothe late John Riley and Ella Delaney McFarland.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Tate Smith, and 10brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her three sons, John Ray Smith and William Smith,both of Smithdale, and Joe Truly Smith of Vicksburg; a daughter,Louise Wells; a son-in-law, Roy Wells; a daughter-in-law, GenneneSmith of Vicksburg; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth McFarland; 11grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
