Services for Claudell Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m.Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Moak’s Creek Baptist Church in Bogue Chittowith burial in Moak’s Creek Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service.

Mr. Wallace, 86, died Oct. 15, 2005, at Forrest General Hospitalin Hattiesburg. He was born on April 24, 1919, to Henry Wallace andRosa Rutland Wallace.

He was a retired marine engineer for Sun Oil Co. ofPennsylvania. He was a member of the Merchant Marines in World WarII. He was a member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, GoldaMae Hux.

Survivors are his wife, Margaret Wallace, of Bogue Chitto; hisdaughter, Linda Paulk, of McComb; his sons, Ronald Wallace, ofSelbyville, Del., Gary Wallace, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and ChrisWallace, of Pensacola, Fla.; his sister, Ellowene Monroe, ofMcComb; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; severalnieces and nephews; and a caregiver, Sharman Richardson.
