Graveside services for the infant of Bennie and Beckey Bryant ofRuth are 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 10, at Union Baptist ChurchCemetery.

The infant died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. It was born on Friday, Sept. 8, 2000.

Preceding it in death were its brother, Bennie Bryant Jr., andgrandfather, Charles L. Bryant.

Survivors are it’s parents; sisters, Katie Marie Picrume andCortney Renee Bryant, both of Ruth; and grandparents, Revia Bryantof Ruth, Raymond and Linda Clark of Petal and Kenny and Becky Hallof Ovett.

Services for Alyne Rayborn Sumrall of Natchez were 10 a.m.Saturday, Sept. 9, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with burial inGreenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Sumrall, 68, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, at NatchezRegional Medical Center. She was born in Jayess on July 7, 1932, tothe late T.C. and Lucettie Alexander Rayborn.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, SherrodRayborn; and a sister, Willene Alexander.

Survivors are her husband, Jerry M. Sumrall of Natchez; son,Jerry Wayne Sumrall of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughter-in-law, PeggySumrall of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brother, W.T. Rayborn of LaPlace,La.; step-mother, Eliza Rayborn of Gulfport; two granddaughters;and a number of nieces and nephews. Lealon H. Taylor

Services for Lealon H. Taylor of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Monday,Sept. 11, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in GumGrove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 10, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Taylor, 67, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, of cancer at hisresidence. He was born in Leapanta, Ark., on May 12, 1933, to MadraPenna Taylor of Booneville and the late Guy Austin Taylor.

He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of both theKorean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of Gum Grove BaptistChurch.

Survivors are his wife, Gladys B. Taylor of Brookhaven; son,Roger Dean Taylor; daughters, Cinda Hobbs and Pamela Sue Jones, allof Wolforth, Texas; brother, R.L. Taylor of Belleview, Fla.; fivegrandchildren; and a host of nieces.
