Services for Karen Browder Brown of Brookhaven are noon,Saturday, July 31, at Alexander Junior High School auditorium withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuaryand Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon at the school auditorium.

Mrs. Brown, 50, died July 28, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on October 14, 1953, to ClydeBrowder Sr. and Bertha Batiest Browder of Brookhaven.

She was a 1971 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a LicensedPractical Nurse at KDMC. She was a member of Mt. Wade M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother; her daughter, Zandra Belcher and herhusband, Randy, of Brookhaven; her son, Patrick Brown ofBrookhaven; her sister, Patricia “Pat” McIntyre of Brookhaven; herbrothers, Clyde Browder and his wife, Ann, of Brookhaven,Christopher Browder of Brookhaven, and Michael Batiest and hiswife, Sadie, of Jackson; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
