Services for Lucille L. Boggan of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerlyof Brookhaven, were 11 a.m., Friday, March 19, at Wright &Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Macedonia Baptist ChurchCemetery in Simpson County.

Mrs. Boggan, 93, died March 12, 2004, at Boynton Beach NursingHome. She was born in 1910, to John Z. and Martha Jane Linton.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Mississippi BaptstHospital in Jackson. She was an active member of Highland BaptistChurch and a participant in the Young At Heart group. She was agolfer and a gardener. After her husband’s death, she moved to herhometown of Brookhaven in 1987, where she was a member of CentralBaptist Church. She moved to Lake Worth, Fla., in 1991, where shewas a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Milford Boggan.

Survivors are her daughter, Martha Wright; her stepdaughter,Peggy Hightower and her family; her stepson, Thomas F. Boggan andhis family; five nieces and nephews and their families; and her”babies” Abby and Shorty.
