JACKSON — The Brookhaven boys and girls basketball teams wereFriday night losers to the Wingfield Falcons in Division 6-4Aaction. The Panthers lost 74-73 in overtime while the Lady Pantherstumbled 62-35 in regulation.

Bud Chatman led the Panthers (8-13, 2-3)with 17 points. MichaelByrd added 15 points and Charles Rancifer 13. Wade Stewart netted11 points.

Wingfield got 16 points from Chris Lewis and 15 from JeremaineMallett as the Falcons avenged an earlier loss at Brookhaven.

The Lady Panthers (6-15, 2-3) were led by Ashley Leggett’s 16points. Blanche Wilson netted 11 points.

Wingfield (15-6) got 17 points from Jade Chatman. LoreanShoulders added 14 points and Dominique Sutton 13.
