Services for Mary Markham of Brookhaven are 10 a.m., Saturday,Dec. 28, at Bethel A.M.E. Church with burial in Carver HeightsCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Markham, 74, died Dec. 22, 2002, at Silver Cross NursingHome. She was born in Tylertown on April 26, 1928, to Moses Jacobsand Alberta Jacobs.

She was retired. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, whereshe was a member of the Usher Board.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RobertMarkham Sr.; and her sister, Norvell Magee.

Survivors are her daughters, Jacqueline Markham of Riverside,Calif., and Charlotte Treadwell of Bammel, Texas; her son, RobertMarkham Jr. of Riverside, Calif.; her brother, the Rev. JuliusJacobs of Tylertown; her sister, Dorothy Diggs of Brookhaven; andthree grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
