Services for Lorraine Smith West of Union Church are 11 a.m.,Saturday, June 5, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in JeffersonCounty with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Copiah County.

Visitation is Friday from 4-8 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. West, 81, died June 3, 2004, at her residence. She was bornon Aug. 22, 1922, to Truly Smith and Gertrude Covington Smith.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in UnionChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold West; herparents; and one sister, Doris Smith.

Survivors are her daughter, Pamela West of Union Church; hersisters, Audra Coley and Thelma Smith, both of Union Church; herbrothers, Truly Earl Smith and Randall Dean Smith, both ofBrookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
