Services for Ouida Pauline Thompson Billings of McComb are 2p.m., Thursday, March 8, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Felder’s Campground Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m.until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Billings, 80, died March 6, 2001, at Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born in Pike County on Aug. 29, 1920, to SidneyGuy and Ruby Daniels Guy.

She was a retired beautician and the owner of Thompson’s BeautyShop in Pricedale. She was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Churchat Pricedale.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Kelly Thompson, her second husband, Aubrey Billings; her sisters,Shirley Deare and Willene Hyde; and her stepmother, Ina MaeGuy.

Survivors are her sons, Billy Thompson of Smithdale, TedThompson of Summit, Kenneth Thompson of Kingsport, Tenn., and KellThompson of Jayess; her brothers, William Guy of McComb and PaulGuy of Ruth; her sisters, Aylene Dunaway and Charlene “Son” Young,both of Ruth; and ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, andnumerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Ernest Celotto

Memorial services for Ernest Celotto of Noank, Conn., will beSaturday, March 10, at Meadville United Methodist Church inMeadville. A memorial service will be planned for early summer inConnecticut.

Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Celotto, 66, died March 4, 2001, at Natchez Regional MedicalCenter from lung cancer. He was born in New Haven, Conn., on Dec.5, 1934, to Angelo A. and Mary Stevenson Celotto. He was a winterresident of Mississippi.

He was the owner and captain of the charter fishing vessel,Reelin, of Noank. He was the president of Connecticut FieldGrinding Service. He was a member of the Connecticut Charter/PartyBoat Association.

Mr. Celotto was a member of Meadville United Methodist Church.He was a Mason. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara Menasco Celotto; his first wife,Ruth Celotto of Ledyard, Conn.; his son, Ernest Celotto Jr. ofLedyard; his daughter, Laureen Gozaydin of Hope Valley, R.I.; hisstepson, Keith Whittington of Noank; his brother, Robert Celotto ofSomers, Conn.; his sisters, Marion Fowler of Ansonia, Conn., andBeatrice Kirkeby of St. Augustine, Fla.; four grandchildren; and aspecial friend, his dog, Bubba.

Memorials may be made to Meadville United Methodist Church.

Susie Alene Cunningham

Services for Susie Alene Cunningham of Escatawpa were 10 a.m.,Wednesday, March 7, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home with burial inFour Mile Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Cunningham, 74, died March 4, 2001, in Pascagoula. She wasborn in Brookhaven on Feb. 4, 1927, to Martin and FloraJohnston.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AaronCunningham; and her brothers, Sidney and Martin Johnston.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary McIntosh of Escatawpa; her son,Andy W. Cunningham of Escatawpa; her sisters, Joyce Nettles ofBrookhaven, Lena Mae Smith of Woolmarket and Nevelene Yeomans ofColumbus, Ga.; and three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren,nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Paul “Pete” Mullikin

Services for Paul “Pete” Mullikin of Point Clear, Ala., are11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 8, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church withburial in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

Visitation is today from 5-6 p.m. at Wolfe Funeral Home inFairhope.

Mr. Mullikin died March 4, 2001, at a hospital in the PointClear area. He was born in Terre Haute, Ind., and was a former longtime resident of Brookhaven. He attended Indiana StateUniversity.

He retired in 1976 from Stahl-Urban Company, where he served assales manager and president. He was an Army Air Corps veteran,serving as a lieutenant in WWII.

Survivors are his wife, Janet Mullikin of Point Clear; hisdaughter, Marsha Wilmerding of Northeast Harbor, Maine; his son,Peter Mullikin of Houston, Texas; and three grandsons.

Mrs. Smith, 83, died March 6, 2001, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 29, 1917, to PerryRoberts and Winnie Miller Roberts.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sylvarena BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her son, Perry A. Smith of Utica; her brothers,Willie Roberts of Wesson, C. O. Blackie Roberts of Eunice, La., andFloyd Roberts of Bossier City, La.; her sisters, Amy Hester ofWesson and Dot Jackson of Jackson; and four grandchildren and sevengreat-grandchildren.
