Services for Malco Smith of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.21, at New Vision Fellowship Church with burial in RosehillCemetery.

Visitation is from noon until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Smith, 85, died Sept. 14, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Feb. 14, 1919, to Joe Smith and LouveniaWells.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Helen Smith;his son, Paul Smith; his sisters, Gladys Black, Roxie Kees andDella Mae Jackson; his brothers, Tyree Smith, Lutillius Smith,Woodrow Smith, Troy Smith, Pearly Smith, Annisana Smith and D.D.Smith.

Survivors are his grandchildren, Angelique Smith and Paul Smith,both of Chicago, Ill.; his sister, Annie Pearl Bradford of Chicago;his brothers, McNair Smith Sr. of Brookhaven, and John W. Smith ofChicago; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews andother relatives.
