Lady Jaguars put away Columbia

COLUMBIA — The North Pike Lady Jaguars handed the Columbia LadyWildcats a 6-4 loss in slowpitch softball action Tuesday night.North Pike improved to 5-0 in the division and 9-6 on theseason.
Hali Sasser was the winning pitcher with 3 strikeouts and 5walks. Absorbing the loss was Olivia Broom with no strikeouts andno walks.
At the plate, Kelsey Lord led the Jags with 2 hits. Singlingwere Maggie Dunaway, Kayla Stockton, Marissa Jenkins, KristenPhelps and Sasser.
Columbia got 2 hits from Kaley Stampley and Martonia Exposie.Libby Aikens, Victoria McNabb and Bailey Montgomery hit safely.
Junior Varsity action
Columbia clipped North Pike 5-1 in JV play.
Shelby Abdul Hadi took the loss for the 5-4-1Jags.
Tripling for North Pike was Rachel Kelly. BriannaBrister, Alma Westbrook and Abdul-Hadi singled.
