Funeral services for Dian Laird, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. onFriday, Nov. 26, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NatchezDrive, with burial in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in LincolnCounty.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Laird, 62, died Nov. 22, 2010, at her residence. She was bornin Lincoln County on July 12, 1948, to Jim Laird and Annie RuthFranklin Laird.

She was a seamstress at Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Co., and was aprivate sitter.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Claude,Frank D., Alfred, Bill A., Paul, Barnett and Jim Laird Jr.

Survivors are her son, Mike Duffie and wife Jennifer of Pearl; herbrother, Herbert Laird of Brookhaven; and her sister, Jimmie Ahrendof Brookhaven.
