Services for Edgar Lee Smith of Wesson are 11 a.m., Monday,April 21, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. and Monday from 8-10:30 a.m.at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith, 86, died April 18, 2003, at Beverly Health Care. Hewas born in Lincoln County on July 8, 1916, to Allen Smith Sr. andAda Smith Smith.

He was retired from Keystone Wire. He was a member of MacedoniaBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his grandchildren,Lenord Donivan Smith and Kathy Lynn Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Mavis Anding Smith of Brookhaven; hissons, Leland Smith, Leonard L. Smith, and Darrell G. Smith, all ofBrookhaven; his brothers, Elmer Smith and Allen Smith Jr., both ofBrookhaven; his sisters, Edith Case and Ethel McMillan, both ofBrookhaven; and four grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
