Willie Mae Washington

Services for Willie Mae Washington, of Smithdale, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 30, at Mt. Sinai M.B. Church in Liberty with burialin the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 7:30 until 9 p.m. at Young FuneralHome in Summit.

Mrs. Washington, 84, died Sept. 23, 2006, at McComb ExtendedCare. She was born on Oct. 16, 1921, to Gertrude Mitchell and SusanSpears Mitchell.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Sinai M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, L.C. TravisSr., her daughter, Velma Lee Wilson; her grandson, Clayton WilsonSr.; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her husband, Rayfield Washington, of Smithdale;her son, Willie R. Washington, of Smithdale; and a host ofgrandchildren, great-grandchildren andgreat-great-grandchildren.
