Services for Roy Hubert Caldwell of Monticello are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Oct. 7, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRoberts Memorial Cemetery in Jayess.

Visitation is today from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Caldwell, 70, died Oct. 4, 2000, of cancer at LawrenceCounty Hospital. He was born in Wetumpka, Ala., on Jan. 29, 1930,to Sam and Eliza Osborne Caldwell.

He was retired from Georgia-Pacific. He was worldwide papermaker Superintendent of the Year. He was a charter member of CouchPit University. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his grandson, BuddyReid.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Louise Caldwell of Monticello; hisson, Roy Steven Caldwell of Monticello, Ark.; his daughters, DiannePennington, Becky Reid, and Tina Givens, all of Monticello; hisbrothers, Wayne Caldwell of St. Marys, Ga., and Randy Caldwell ofFoley, Ala.; and 10 grandchildren.
