Funeral services for Frank Henry Owens, of Bogue Chitto, are 10a.m. on Saturday, July 24, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Owens, 70, died July 22, 2010, at his residence. He was born onJune 19, 1940 to Lavender Owens and Frankie Young Owens.

He was a retired boilermaker. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War,serving in the United States Army. He was a member and deacon atMt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was president of the Bogue ChittoWater Association and a Mason.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one infantsister.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Diane Case Owens; his son, FrankHenry “Hank” Owens Jr. and wife, GiGi; his daughters, Melissa OwensNorman and husband Tommy, and Julie Owens Crosby; his sister, JeanMercier and husband, Sedgie; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Kelli,Chance and Chase Owens, Hayley Beth Owens, Heather and HannahCrosby and Landon, Luke and Shelby Norman.
