Mary Wilson Wall, 90, was received into the loving arms of herLord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Wesley MethodistHospital in Hattiesburg.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, atHartman Funeral Home of McComb. Visitation will continue at Mt.Vernon Baptist Church in Gillsburg on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, from10 a.m. until services there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Clint Penalberwill officiate. Burial will follow in Wall Cemetery in AmiteCounty.

Mrs. Wall was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Amite County to SeleniaEtta Mixon Wilson and Willie Joshua Wilson Sr.

A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Wall took great pride in being afull-time homemaker. She will be remembered for her beautifulflower gardens, delicious pies, and her sweet and lovingspirit.

She was a devout Christian and a member of Mt. Vernon BaptistChurch in Gillsburg.

Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her beloved husband, OdessaWall; her parents; seven brothers, James “Jim,” Bernard, Jesse Lee,Earl, Leslie “Leo,” Percy, W.J. “Bub” Wilson Jr.; two sisters,Annie Bell Hilburn and Inez O’Quinn.

Survivors include one sister and best friend, Arlevia “Rose”Wilson, of McComb; one son, Greg Wall and daughter-in-law Linda, ofGillsburg; one daughter Gail Saxon and son-in-law John (Ridge)Saxon, of Denham Springs, La.; seven grandchildren, Brinson Walland wife Jacqueline, of McComb, Mary Helen Wall, of Jackson, AaronSaxon and wife Lisa, of Denham Springs, Robin Deschamps and husbandJoe, of Denham Springs, Carmen Saxon and Autumn Saxon, both ofProvo, Utah, and Shannon Saxon, of Denham Springs; fivegreat-grandchildren, Kaylea Wall, Kaiden Deschamps, Hana Wall, C.J.Wall and Kalli Deschamps; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for her service are Brinson Wall, Aaron Saxon, JoeDeschamps, J.C. Wall, Tyler Wall, and Randy Gordon.

Honorary Pallbearers are the deacons of Mt. Vernon BaptistChurch; Vernon Lee Carter, James Copeland, Kelly Wall and MalcolmWillson.
