Funeral services for Ruby Lee Smith, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.on Wednesday, April 6, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood. There willalso be a visitation Wednesday from 10 a.m. until theservice.

Mrs. Smith, 80, died April 3, 2011, at her residence. She was bornAug. 16, 1930, to James Lee Hart and Lillie Cookesy.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Easthaven BaptistChurch.

Preceding her death were her parents; her first husband, VernonSmith; her husband, A.J. Smith; her son, Dudley Smith; herstepfather, Billy Cookesy; her son-in-law, Robert Eaton; and herbrothers, John L. Hart and Luther Hart.

Survivors are her son, Clifton Smith; her daughters, Kathy Eatonand Betty McMillan; her brother, Tillman Hart; her sister, Rose LeeDunning; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and twogreat great-grandchildren.
