Dorothy Faye Ashley Davis, 64, died March 26, 2010, at 10:19.She was born April 12, 1945, in Wesson to James Calvin Ashley andIda Elizabeth Earls Ashley.

Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.Services will be held at New Sight Baptist Church at 10 a.m. onMarch 29. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome on March 28, 2010. Interment will be at New Sight BaptistChurch Cemetery.

She was a homemaker. She was an active member of New SightBaptist Church and served 25 plus years as nursery director.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert B. Davis Sr.; her son,Herbert B. Davis Jr. and wife, Darla Davis; her grandchildren,Chansley Hodge, Makenzie Davis and Hayden Davis; her brother,Donald Earl Ashley, of Winder, Ga.; her sister, Louise Ashley Byrd;her brother-in-law, Malford T. Byrd; her sisters-in-law, ElsieAshley, of Wesson, Judy Ashley, of Brookhaven; and numerous niecesand nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, JamesAshley, Edward L. Ashley Sr. and Billy Buck Ashley.

The family is grateful for the care given by her family,friends, her chemo nurse, Beth McDowell, Dr. James L. Moore Jr. ofthe Mississippi Gynecologic Cancer Group and Hospice Ministries ofBrookhaven.
