Services for W. Whitlock Griffin Sr., of Roxie, are incomplete.Ms Mortuary in Pearl is in charge of arrangements.

Griffin, 52, died July 23, 2005, of injuries sustained in avehicle accident in Roxie. He was born in Franklin County on Jan.22, 1953, to Claude Alton Griffin and Christine Marie MountGriffin.

He was a truck driver for Hornday Transportation. His religiousbackground was non-denominational. He was killed on his 28thwedding anniversary.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth J.D. Griffin; his mother; hisson, Willie W. Griffin Jr.; his daughter, Sara O. Griffin; foursisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Jim Smith, Jan and TonySmith, Tonie and Stanley Murray, Dink and Louis Smith; and otherbrother, Claude Griffin Jr. Memorials may be made to the FranklinHigh School Beta Club.
