Services for Margie Scott of Brookhaven were 11 a.m., Thursday,May 2, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rose HillCemetery.

Mrs. Scott, 81, died April 30, 2002, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Pearl River County on July 20, 1920, toNorvel H. Douglass and Julia Case Douglass.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, RalphScott.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Peter B. and JudyScott of New Zealand; her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy andMelba Douglass of Clinton; her sisters, Mrs. Clark (Dot) Smith andMrs. Ben (Evelyn) Leggett, both of Brookhaven; her grandchildren,Hamish and Timothy Scott of New Zealand; and several nieces andnephews.
