Services for Sarah Lee McDavid Ivy of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Saturday, April 14, at Holly Springs Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, April 13, from 5-9 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home and Saturday, April 14, from 1 p.m. until service timeat the church.

Mrs. Ivy, 87, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at Haven HallNursing Home. She was born in Lincoln County on March 27, 1914, tothe late Allen Monroe and Julia King McDavid.

She was a retired registered nurse and homemaker. She was amember of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hugh HowardIvy Sr.; brothers, Willie, Jim, Dewey Sr., Whitney, Pinkie, Ed andMartin McDavid; and sisters, Anna Drummond and Dora Wilson.

Survivors are her son, Hugh Howard “Peewee” Ivy Jr., anddaughter, Sarah Rebekah “Becky” Ivy, both of Brookhaven.
