Services for Lucy Sandra Cardillo Calcote, of Hoover, Ala., are10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Nola Baptist Church in Brookhavenwith burial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag. RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Calcote, 60, died Aug. 12, 2007, in Hoover. She was born onAug. 28, 1946, to Salvatore Cardillo and Inez Smith Dixon.

She was a retired school administrator. She earned a bachelor’sdegree in home economics at the University of Southern Mississippiand a master’s degree in home economics at Mississippi Universityfor Women. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her father; her husband, Dr. RogerD. Calcote; her son, Christopher Paul Calcote; and her daughter,Julie Careen Calcote.

Survivors are her mother; her sons, Adam Edgar Calcote and WadeAndrew Calcote; her daughter, Cara Samantha Calcote Bondly; and hergrandchild, Jackson Roger Calcote.
