Services for Alvin Eugene Coleman of Mendenhall are 11 a.m.,Friday, Jan. 4, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Coleman, 77, died Jan. 1, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn in Simpson County.

He was a retired mechanic with International Harvester Company.He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was an Army veteranof WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William Frank Colemanand Lucy Coke Coleman.

Survivors are his wife, Louise May Coleman; his daughters,Rebecca Cockern of Brookhaven and Hilda Mae Coleman of Mendenhall;his brother, Harold Coleman of Gulfport; and three grandchildrenand three great-grandchildren.
