Services for Lillie Mae Fleming Wardley Lee of Bude are 1 p.m.,Sunday, March 7, at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Monroewith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 5 p.m., at MarshallFuneral Home in Bude.

Mrs. Lee, 86, died March 2, 2004, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.She was born in Oldenburg on July 4, 1917, to Robert and Mary LizaScott Fleming.

She was a homemaker. She was president of the church mission, amother of the church and a member of the church choir. She was amember of the Order of the Eastern Star and the NationalAssociation for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, foursisters, two brothers and a grandson.

Survivors are her children and their spouses, Julius and LillieWardley, and William Wardley Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., Gloria Lee ofSan Jose, Calif., Dorothy Stallworth of Menlo Park, Calif.,Stellare and Freddie Griffin of Mt. View, Calif., Sarah Lee ofBude, Billy and Renee Lee of San Jose, Diane and Rowan Winston ofHarvey, La., and Ruby Chaney of New Orleans, La.; her brother,Monroe Fleming of New Orleans; 24 grandchildren; 50great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
