James ‘Scott’ Bourn

Services for James “Scott” Bourn of Brookhaven were 3 p.m.,Saturday, Oct. 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRiverwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Bourn, 72, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, of heart failure atKing’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Lawrence County onFeb. 11, 1928, to the late Leon Harrison and Ollie HerrinBourn.

He was retired from Southern Wholesale Company.

Preceding him in death were his parents and wife, Doris GrimesBourn.

Survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law, James Sr. and DebbyBourn and Ronnie and Debra Bourn, all of Brookhaven; daughters,Rachel Hicks of Foxworth and Mary Jean Bourn of Lafayette, La.;son-in-law, Craig Hicks of Foxworth; 16 grandchildren; 10great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
