Services for Armarie Bounds Williams Galloway, of Brookhaven,formerly of Calhoun City, are 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, at PryorFuneral Home in Calhoun City with burial in Calhoun CityCemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Galloway, 82, died June 30, 2007, at Silver Cross Home inBrookhaven. She was born in Calhoun County on Jan. 16, 1925.

She was a retired legal secretary with Lawrence Chandler LawOffice in Calhoun City. She was a member of Pittsboro UnitedMethodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tim Bounds and ClaraBoland Bounds; her husbands, Ray Williams and Raymond Galloway; herdaughter, Angie Williams; her sister, Earl Hensley; and hergrandchild, Andy Kellar.

Survivors are her daughters, Rosemarie Kellar and MarjorieMcNamee, both of Brookhaven, and Gloria Dyer, of Greenville, N.C.;her brother, Charles Bounds, of Houston; her sister, Myrl Owens, ofCalhoun City; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Emma Jean James

Services for Emma Jean James, of Wesson, were 11 a.m. Monday,July 2, at Sylvarena Baptist Church in Wesson with burial in thechurch cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. James, 79, died June 30, 2007, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson.

She was a lifelong member of the Sylvarena community and was agraduate of Wesson High School. She was a 25-year employee of theformer Stahl-Urban Company and then owned and operated Ruth’sFashion in Wesson until her retirement. She was a devoted churchmember and Sunday School teacher at Sylvarena Baptist Churchthroughout her life. She will be greatly missed in her community,church and especially by those who knew her as “Mother,””Grandmother” and “G.G.”

Preceding her in death were her parents, Garland N. and RuthSullivan Case; and her husband, Virgil (Simmie) James.

Survivors are her her daughter, Pamela James Owens and husbandBob, of Vicksburg; her grandchildren, Casey Owens and wife Beth, ofByram, and Christie Owens Ayers, of Cleveland; and hergreat-grandchildren, Dylan and Campbell Owens, and CameronAyers.

Linda Catt Lambert

Services for Linda Catt Lambert, of Monticello, were 3 p.m.Sunday, July 1, at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello isin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lambert, 59, died June 28, 2007, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Columbia on Nov. 24,1947, to James Lonnie Catt and Dorothy Claire Beachan Catt.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Churchand former church treasurer for nine years.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, RayCatt.

Survivors are her husband, Drury Lambert, of Monticello; hersons James Drury “Jimmy” Lambert and wife Stacy, of Jayess, andDavid Brian “Biscuit” Lambert and his wife Theresa, of Arm; herbrothers Hughey Catt and wife Linda, of Jayess, T.D. Mrs. Martin, 72, died June 30, 2007, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Copiah County on Dec. 31, 1934, to HoustonJohnson and Annie Johnson.

She was retired. She was a member of New St. John M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her father and daughter Annie J.Cowart.
