Services for James Wallace Jones of Magee, and formerly ofMonticello, are 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Stringer Funeral Homein Crystal Springs with burial in Byram Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. atthe funeral home.

Mr. Jones, 72, died Nov. 25, 2001, at Simpson General Hospital.He was born in Copiah County on March 15, 1929, to Davis M. JonesSr. and Arleen McManus Jones.

He was a retired section foreman for the ICG Railroad. He was amember of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Magee.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Billie SueRoberts Jones; his son, Jerry William Jones; his brothers, Vernon,Allen, and Davis Jones Jr.; and his sister, Nettie JonesPhillips.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and SusanJones, and granddaughters, Molly and Leah Frances Jones, all ofBrookhaven; his son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Sonja Jones, andgranddaughter, Dorothy Sue Jones, all of Magee; his brother, VollieJones of Crystal Springs; his sisters, Lois Jones Phillips, AlmaJones Phillips and Lucille Jones Kelly, all of Crystal Springs; anda host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village.
