Sylvia Noble Bentz, devoted wife, beloved mom, and successfulbusiness owner, died peacefully August 21, 2005.

Sylvia was born March 5, 1931, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, whereshe spent many happy years growing up with her friends and family,graduating from Brookhaven High School, attending Mississippi StateCollege for Women, and meeting her future husband.

In 1952, she married A. William Bentz, also of Brookhaven. Sherelocated to Houston, Texas, with him in 1955, raised a familythere, and later established her own business, GreenspointPersonnel Service, which she operated for seven years. Herhusband’s death followed hers very recently.

Sylvia is survived by her sons David, Don and Andy Bentz, fourgrandsons, two granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter, all ofAustin, Texas, and in Brookhaven by her sister, Edna Lovitt, andbrother, James F. Noble Jr.

A private memorial service will be held around Thanksgiving forboth Sylvia and Bill, exact date to be announced.
