Services for Hazel Randall Rice of Wesson are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Sylvarena Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rice, 85, died Oct. 27, 2002, at Jaquith Nursing Home. Shewas born in Copiah County on July 16, 1917, to Lee Randall and LulaMcMillan Randall.

She worked at Stahl Urban and at Potter Company. She was askilled seamstress. She was a member of Wesson Baptist Church. Mrs.Rice was full of love for her church, pastor, community andespecially for her family. She and her family assisted in helpingto move Wesson Baptist Church to its present location.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, A. Q.Rice.

Survivors are her sons, Charlie Rice of Clinton and Jerry Riceof Whitehouse, Texas; her sister, Marva Rutland of Wesson; andseven grandchildren.
