Keith White hopes to bring a whole new experience to Brookhavenfine dining with Mitchell’s.

White describes the steak and seafood restaurant asfull-service, fine dining.

“Brookhaven has never seen anything like this,” he said.

White only elaborated to say the restaurant will provide a placefor couples to enjoy dinner in a romantic atmosphere whereemployees see to their every dining need. He declined to discloseother details of the restaurant, saying the suspense adds to thesurprise.

“That’s why we have all the windows taped up,” White said.”We’re doing a lot of work inside that I’m not ready for people tosee yet.”

A brief glimpse inside reveals only workers laying the basis fora few low stone walls separating parts of the interior.Construction on the interior of the restaurant was begun inDecember, White said.

The restaurant, located on Hampton Drive, is expected to open inlate March.
