Cecil Murphey Bone

Services for Cecil Murphey Bone, of Clearwater, Fla., are 2 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 25 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in NewSalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.

Visitation is Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bone, 90, died Feb. 21, 2006, at Westchester Gardens NursingHome in Clearwater. He was born on Feb. 10, 1916, to HinesNathaniel Bone and Martha Hitt Bone.

He was a retired state trooper with the Louisiana State Police.He served his country during World War II in the Air Force. He wasa member of New Salem Baptist Church in McCall Creek, and a Masonand Scottish Rite Shriner.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, FredBone.

Survivors are his wife, Mabel Bone, of Oldsmar, Fla.; his son,Norman Bone, of New Port Richey, Fla.; and his grandchildren,Norman Bone II, Mark Bone and Robert Bone.
