Services for Donald Rae Cupit, of Roxie, are 10 a.m. Tuesday,May 13, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New SalemBaptist Church Cemetery in McCall Creek.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Cupit, 59, died May 9, 2008, at University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on July 30,1948, to Olen Cupit and Marie Williams Cupit.

He was an oil field driller. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.

Survivors are his wife, Tina Cupit, of Roxie; his sons anddaughter-in-law, Olen Lee Cupit, of Gilbert, La., Donald Olen andAricabet Cupit, of Sugar Hill, Ga., and Jared Evans, of Roxie; hisdaughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and Elmer Smith and Donna andTracy Arnold, all of Roxie; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jamesand Beverly Cupit, of McCall Creek, and Robert and Donna Cupit, ofBogue Chitto; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and HaroldSmith, of McCall Creek, Norma and Kent Purpura, of Walker, La., andMartha Selm and J.D. Mohan, of Denham Springs, La.; and ninegrandchildren.
