Services for Lenorris “Link” Woodard are 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept.20, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Silver Creekwith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon – 7 p.m., with family hour from6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. Woodard, 52, died Sept. 12, 2003, at University MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born Lawrence County on July 12, 1951, toCoater Woodard Taylor.

He was an assembly line worker at Delphi Packard ElectricSystems in Brookhaven. He was a high school graduate, and agraduate of Jackson State University. He was a member of RockyBranch Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as financialsecretary and a member of the trustee board. He was a member of thetruck club.

Preceding him in death were a son, Ricardo Cole; and agrandchild.

Survivors are his ex-wife, Johnnie Mae Woodard of Monticello;his daughter, Bronwyn Sands of Monticello; his sons, Lenorris Coleand Travonti Woodard, both of Monticello; his sisters, OpheliaWoodard, Brinda Ross and Evon Bayliss, all of Monticello; hisbrother, Neal Woodard of Monticello; three grandchildren; and ahost of nieces and nephews.
