The Yellow Jackets will return to action Thursday night as Enterprise prepares to host the Lincoln County Tournament.

The Lady Jackets and the Jackets will square off with Bogue Chitto on the first night of the tournament with the varsity girls’ game beginning at 7 p.m.

A 12-0 first quarter run by Cathedral to start the game dashed Enterprise’s hopes of victory in a 25-point road loss to the Green Wave.

A combination of turnovers, foul trouble and poor shooting for the Yellow Jackets catapulted Cathedral to a 26-7 halftime advantage.

Enterprise (7-2) lacked any sort of second half push and never threatened the Green Wave.

“We didn’t show up to play,” said Enterprise coach John Knight. “We’ve got a lot of work to do in order to prepare for the County Tournament next week.”

John Gray led Enterprise with nine points. Patrick Scott added eight points for the Jackets.

Alex Weadock paced Cathedral with a game-high 11 points.
