Co-Lin to host State Games District 7 baseball tryouts

WESSON – Co-Lin will hold the District 7 tryouts for the 2016 State Games All Star Baseball Tournament on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Sullivan Field on the Wesson Campus.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Tryouts are open to any 2017-2018 private or public school graduates.

The tournament is comprised of eight districts and will take place at Meridian Community College June 13-17. Each district is allowed a team of 18 players and two alternates.

There is a $5 dollar tryout fee that is due, along with the State Games waiver, at registration. All parents and athletes MUST sign the waiver in order to participate in tryouts.

Players that make the 20-man roster must bring $125 to Meridian Community College on June 13 for check in. For more information visit www.stategamesofms.org/node/30/sportsmain.
