Southwest hosts basketball camp in June

SUMMIT – Southwest Lady Bears basketball head coach Brent Harris has announced the dates for his camps that be held on the Southwest Community College campus this summer. Assisting Harris with the camps will be Lady Bears assistant coach Britta Stephens.

The Junior Basketball Camp will be held June 27-28 (from 9:00 a.m. until Noon). This camp is for boys and girls entering grades 1-5 and the cost will be $50 per player.

The team shootouts will be held June 28 (from 1 to 7 p.m.) and June 29 (at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.. The cost will depend on the number of games each team elects to play.

The Individual Camp, for girls entering grades 6-12, will be held June 30-July 1, and will cost $80 per player.

The cost of each camp will cover a t-shirt and insurance. Camp brochures with additional information can be found on the women’s basketball page www.southwestbearathletics.com.
