Local ministry helps young missionaries

Callie Cole, after whom Callie's Mission is named, had her dream of serving in the foreign mission field interrupted following an automobile accident in 2009. Nearly 200 participants attended the event at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Saturday night. Good music, good food and good fellowship highlighted the evening with special guest speaker, Adrian Fairchild. Callie's motto, "Don't Stop Believing", was a central theme of the ceremony, but her father, Tom Cole emphasized that the real message of Callie's Mission is spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Callie's Mission provides scholarship funds to high school and college age students serving in the foreign mission field. Learn more about Callie's Mission at www.calliesmission.org.
