COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The capper of the postseason awards season has come as two members of the Copiah-Lincoln Wolfpack football team have been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) 2014 All-Americans.

DONALD GRAY

Redshirt freshman wide receiver Donald Gray Jr. has been named First Team All-American after catching 55 passes for 989 yards (8th best in the nation). A native of Memphis and graduate of White Station High School, Gray caught 10 touchdowns and averaged 90 yards receiving per game. Gray missed his freshman season in 2013 after a preseason ankle injury. The season opener versus Itawamba on Aug. 28 was his first game action since completing his senior season.

Gray more than made up for the time off with seven catches for 183 yards and three touchdowns in the 37-13 win over the Indians. Gray had his biggest game when his team needed it the most. In a matchup with Jones that decided the MACJC South Division Champion, Gray caught 12 passes for 158 yards and one touchdown. A Mississippi State signee, Gray also shined as a punt returner in 2014 with three touchdowns and 419 yards gained on 20 returns. Gray was the team leader with 1,403 all-purpose yards. Gray was named NJCAA Region 23 Most Valuable Player, All-Region, First Team All-State as a wide receiver, Second Team All-State as a punt returner, and MACJC Most Valuable Back. He was twice named state player of the week and twice named national player of the week.

DIQUAN DAVIS

Sophomore kick returner Diquan Davis has been named Second Team All-American after returning 16 kicks for 562 yards and three touchdowns. A graduate of Greenville-Weston High School, Davis returned the opening kickoff 94-yards for a touchdown in a 50-0 win over Mississippi Delta on Sept. 11. He was at his best in a 29-26 victory over Gulf Coast. Davis returned a first quarter kickoff 94-yards for a touchdown. With 1:48 remaining in the game and his team trailing, Davis returned another kickoff 100-yards for the game winning score. Following that performance Davis was named state and national player of the week. A Delta State signee, Davis also rushed the ball 67 times for 339 yards and four touchdowns as a running back.
